Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BrikTech ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BrikTech is a construction job management platform that enables builders and tradespeople to manage jobs, tasks, shopping lists, client communications, and integrations with third-party services including Google Calendar and Xero.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
  • Upload malicious code or files
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to BrikTech (photos, notes, job data). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content, including photos of work sites and client properties.

6. Third-Party Integrations

Connecting third-party services (Google Calendar, Xero) is optional. When connected, those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of those services.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable access to BrikTech but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, BrikTech is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of business data.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.
